Finished Reading “The Glass Castle”
I finished reading “The Glass Castle” by Jeannette Walls today. It’s an interesting autobiography about a girl who grew up in a poor family, with a drunk for a dad and a mom who didn’t want the responsiblity of kids. Though at times I felt so sorry for the circumstances at which Jeannette had to live, I never really felt any animosity towards the parents. Hard to explain — i guess you’d have to read it to find out what i mean!
Butters slept at my feet as i spent a couple hours finishing up the book tonight. He also has recently taken a liking to sitting in my computer chair while i’m away… or even while i’m still sitting in it.
