Make Up Brushes
I use Bare Escentuals make up for my daily routine, and they are known for their famous”kabuki” brush to apply the minerals to your face. I think i started using them while i was a sophomore in college, so like 6 years ago. It just occurred to me that i should probably get a new brush! So i ordered one from Sephora using a really old gift card, and here is the comparison shot of old and new.
Meet Theresa
Taking a portrait of our project manager, Theresa, for our web site at work. Theresa was just diagnosed with breast cancer. We are all rooting for her and hoping she will be strong through this tough time.
Pink Turbo Party
Linda’s pink turbo party for breast cancer awareness month.
Grilled Cheese
The last time we made grilled cheese we thought we could have more cheese in it. Usually we only have cheddar cheese on hand, so this time i bought some american “smooth melting” processed cheese to use. I overloaded it with too much cheese!! Who would think you could do such a thing. But i did.
Mushrooms
Found a colony of mushrooms growing under our half-dead tree. Creepy!

Little Lost Doggie
Angie found this poor little lost doggie in the parking lot at work today. Look at how dirty he is, especially around the neck. He was running around with a chewed up collar/chain thing – looked like he broke free somehow. We think he is a neglected dog. His eyes had gunk all around it, may even be infected, and he was infested with fleas. We gave him water and food, and he ate and drank just a little. He was such a well behaved dog. Just chilled in the office with us, didn’t make a peep or a mess. Angie took him home for the weekend and gave him a bath. She isn’t sure what she will do with him next. She might fall in love and keep him, either that or he will go to a shelter.
The leash – looks like a weapon! Charlie after a bath! He IS white…
Too Cool Coasters
Since we just bought all new furniture, including new coffee tables, end tables, and dining tables, we are thinking coasters may be a good investment. I checked for some at Target but they had ugly ones (bamboo, black rubber, cork, or metal with words on them?), and then checked Macy*s online. These ones that we ended up buying are very pretty, but a bit expensive ($45). I was surprised when we opened the package up that there was a little square paper reading a disclaimer that said “Hand painted wood. Dry foods only.” Uhhhh, wait a second, isn’t this a COASTER??? For wet ‘n cold drinks? D’oh!
Snail Seeking Shelter
This snail was hanging out on the door, trying to work himself into the Schipper Design office. Poor lil’ guy. Maybe he needed a web site?
Kalua Pig & Cabbage
Had Tehani over for dinner tonight – Kalua Pig, Cabbage and some rice. So yummy. She brought over some delicious cake – a red with cream cheese frosting and a chocolate cake. We treated ourselves tonight!
