Sushi Party
We hosted a sushi party at our house tonight and invited over Kyle & Bonnie and Carrie and Roger. I made Unagi (eel) rolls, California Rolls, Spam Musubis, Edamame (soybeans), and Crab Rangoons with two dipping sauces. One was Chinese hot mustard, and the other was a sauce I made up of soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce, sriracha sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger and sesame seeds. Mmm, i have to write it down on here so i remember how i made it! It tasted best when you dipped the rangoon in the both sauces! We watched some TV while we noshed on dinner, then played a couple of rounds Cranium which provided some laughs for the night. Dessert was my Mom’s recipe for frozen, minty Mini-Grasshopper Pies! *Sigh* - I love food. Oh, and I also love company! We have awesome friends.
