Felled Tree?
The wind was so strong it knocked over this tree, and it looks like it hit the car, but someone must have moved it to the sidewalk. Jeff mentioned the phrase “felled tree” and we googled it to find out if it would be appropriate to use that term in this case. We concluded felled usually means intention to cause a tree to fall, and in this case, we don’t think the wind intended the tree to fall.
