Today is Columbus Day – so Jeff got to stay home from work! I had to go to work and it seemed like the longest day ever since I had a sore throat and a runny nose that I think I got from Jeff earlier in the week. Good grief.

We didn’t  feel like eating leftovers for dinner so we went to IHOP for some yummy pancakes. We were the only ones in there for a while.  Jeff ordered a coffee and I swear he drank the whole pot! I ordered a water — but they were OUT of water. Huh? Yeah… I guess “the pipe” was broken. I’m not sure how they made the coffee or washed the dishes…… but I just ended up getting an apple juice.
